I was given texasradiofish to remix, a musician I admire working outside my genre. I chose to remix Estalactite, using a technique thats common but I had never used before; chopping the music into beats and arranging the beats in a different order. The finished result being a genre of dance music, Big Beat, which I had never attempted (think Fatboy Slim).

You can see a common theme - setting myself a challenge and a high hurdle to jump. I had it all finished within 3 days, working on it mornings and evenings doing a few hours each time. I learnt a lot from doing this.

90% of the samples are from Estalactite, then I added my own bass, guitar and synth.
