Think I’m getting better. Second track in a row that is at least the style it shall be. :)
A couple days ago I watched a video describing the Sonicware LIVEN Evoke, which evoked a desire to create an ambient track, which led me to this tutorial.
Mastering this was challenging. I wanted to have a lot of movement and a heavy bass drone. But I think it went quite well.
Aussens@iter’s guitar solo is treated quite uncommon. While one channel is played with the orginal tempo, the other channel is slowed down. This gives a very interesting reverb/echo/delay/whateveritis sound.
Snowflake’s vocals, while being barely audible, play an important role for the emotional feeling of the song. At least that’s my idea. :)
Still in the process to find out how to make the mixes overall loud without having to use to many limiters…
