Needed a MIDI driven virtual 808 bass plugin. There were too many free plugins listed on d’Internet to audition in a timely manner. Found we had Bass Engine freeware from Computer Music magazine. XSub was one of higher ranked Internet recommended 808 bass emulators. Tried it. Like the Bass Engine mo better for this project.
