Luis Mondragon is a Mexican producer based out of Valencia, Spain. As a teenage he played drums with rock and punk bands. On a language trip to Germany he started going to clubs, thus getting to know House, Funk, Breakbeat and Drum&Bass, and at the dormitories he started listening to hip hop (and tasting some of the best weed of Freiburg). He became so fascinated by the new music he was discovering, that he wanted to learn how to produce such rhythms and sounds. He got a copy of Reason, bought a MIDI keyboard, a mixer, a turntable and started learning the art of looping, beat-making and arranging while he was endlessly looking for new information about labels, genres and artists. At this point of his development he produces beats with PH Reason 4.0 and an AKAI MPD 24 MIDI pad controller, which has expanded the range of expression for producing percusion, bass and synth parts. He is looking forward establishing contact with MC’s, singers, and other electronica and hip hop producers, Djs and enthusiasts.
